மருந்துகள் மற்றும் அழகுசாதனங்கள் சட்டம்’ 1940

- ஷெட்யூல் - ‘J’
“Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, 1945, 1995, ‘Schedule J’ contains a list of 51 disease and ailments (by whatever name described) which a drug may not purport to prevent or cure or make claims to prevent or cure”
‘மருந்துகள் மற்றும் அழகு சாதனங்கள் சட்டம்’ 1940 ல் இயற்றப்பட்டு பின்னர் 1945, 1995 ல் திருத்தியமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த சட்டத்தில் ஷெட்யூல் - ‘J’ என்ற பிரிவின் கீழ் 51 வகை ஆங்கில மருத்துவத்தின் வியாதிகள் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த வியாதிகள் ஆங்கில மருத்துவத்தின் மருந்துகளைக் கொண்டு குணப்படுத்த முடியும்!’ என்றோ, ‘மருந்துகளைக் கொண்டு குணப்படுத்திக் காட்டுகிறேன்!’ என்றோ கூறுதல் கூடாது என்று எச்சரிக்கிறது.

Rule 106
Diseases which a drug may not purport to prevent or cure. —
(1) No drug may purport or claim to prevent or cure or may convey to the intending user thereof any idea that it may prevent or cure one or more of the diseases or ailments specified in Schedule J.
(2) No drug may purport or claim to procure or assist to procure, or may convey to the intending user thereof any idea that it may procure or assist to procure, miscarriage in women.

Schedule J Diseases and ailments (by whatever name described) which a drug may not purport to prevent or cure or make claims to prevent or cure.
ஷெட்யூல் J-யில் வரையறுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள 51 நோய்களில் விவரம்வருமாறு.

1. AIDS
எய்ட்ஸ்

2. Angina Pectoris (Chest Pain)
நெஞ்சுவலி

3. Appendicitis
‘அப்பெண்டிஸைட்டிஸ்’ என்னும் குடல்வால் நோய்

4. Arteriosclerosis (Block in Heart vessels)
இருதய இரத்தக் குழாய்களில் அடைப்பு

5. Baldness
தலை வழுக்கை

6. Blindness
கண்பார்வை அற்ற நிலை

7. Bronchial Asthma
ஆஸ்துமா

8. Cancer and Benign tumour (Cysts to Cancer tumors in body)
உடலில்தோன்றும் கட்டிகள் முதலாக புற்றுநோய் வரை

9. Cataract
கண்புரை

10. Change in colour of the hair and growth of new hair (Hair growth and grey hair removal)
தலைமுடி வளர, நரையை அகற்ற

11. Change of Foetal sex by drugs (Changing the foetus to male or female)
கருவில் வளரும் குழந்தையை ஆணாகவோ , பெண்ணாகவோ மாற்றுவோம் என்றுகூறுவது.

12. Congenital malformations
பிறவிக் கோளாறுகள்

13. Deafness
காது கேளாமை

14. Diabetes (Sugar Complaint)
நீரிழிவு நோய் (சர்க்கரை நோய் )

15. Diseases and disorders of uterus. (All diseases related to uterus)
கர்ப்பப்பை சம்பந்தமான அனைத்துக் கோளாறுகள்

16. Epileptic -fits and psychiatric disorders (Epilepsy and all mental diseases)
வலிப்புநோய் - மன நோய்கள் அனைத்தும்

17. Encephalitis (Brain Fever)
மூளைக்காய்ச்சல்.

18. Fairness of the skin (Changing the black skin to fair Colour)
உடல் நிறம் கருப்பாக இருப்பினும் சிகப்பாக்குதல்.

19. Form, structure of breast (Development of breast)
மார்பக வளர்ச்சிக்கு

20. Gangrene
புரையோடிய புண்

21. Genetic disorders (DNA related diseases)
மரபணுநோய்கள்

22. Glaucoma (Eye disease)
க்ளாகோமா எனும்கண்வலிநோய்

23. Goitre (Thyroid)
கழுத்து (தைராய்டு) வீக்கம்

24. Hernia
ஹெர்னியா எனும்குடலிறக்கநோய்

25. High/low Blood Pressure (Hypo and hyper blood pressure)
அதிகமற்றும்குறைவான இரத்த அழுத்தம்

26. Hydrocele
விரை வீக்கம்

27. Insanity (Madness)
பைத்தியம்

28. Increase in brain capacity and improvement of memory (Absent-mindedness and improving it)
ஞாபக மறதி, ஞாபக சக்தியை அபிவிருத்தி செய்ய.

29. Improvement in height of children/adults (To raise the height of children)
குழந்தையின் உயரத்தைக் கூட்ட.

30. Improvement in size and shape of the sexual organ and in duration of sexual Performance (Prolong the size and stamina of penis)
ஆண் உறுப்புவளர்ச்சி, வீரியம்.

31. Improvement in the strength of the natural teeth (Treatment for protecting the teeth by calcium drugs)
பற்களை உறுதிப்படுத்த என்று, கால்ஷியம் மருந்துகள் மூலமாக வைத்தியம் பார்ப்பது.

32. Improvement in vision (Common eye diseases long sight, short sight)
சாதாரணமாக ஏற்படும் கண்பார்வைக் குறைபாடுகள் கிட்டப்பார்வை , தூரப்பார்வை.

33. Jaundice/Hepatitis/Liver disorders (Yellow fever, hepatitis and all diseases related to liver)
மஞ்சள் காமாலை, கல்லீரல் மர்ம நோய் (ஹெபடைட்டிஸ்), மற்றும் கல்லீரல் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட எந்த நோய்களும்

34. Leukaemia (Blood cancer)
இரத்தப் புற்றுநேரய்.

35. Leucoderma
வெண் குஷ்டம்

36. Maintenance or improvement of the capacity of the human being for sexual pleasure. (Increasing stamina while intercourse)
உடலுறவில் வீரியம்அதிகப்படுத்துதல்.

37. Mental retardation, subnormalities and growth (Less brain development)
மூளை வளர்ச்சிக்குறைவு.

38. Myocardial infarction (Heart attack)
மாரடைப்பு நோய்

39. Obesity (Obese to slim)
குண்டான உடம்பு மெலிய

40. Paralysis
பக்க வாதம்

41. Parkinsonism (Neurotic diseases – sympathetic)
உடம்பு முழுவதும் நரம்பு நடுக்க நோய்

42. Piles and Fistulae (Piles and haemorrhoid)
மூல நோய் மற்றும்பவுத்திரம்

43. Power to rejuvenate (Regaining youthfulness)
வாலிப சக்தியை மீட்க

44. Premature ageing (Elderly appearance in youth)
குறைந்த வயதில்முதிர்ச்சியடைந்த தோற்றம்

45. Premature greying of hair (Grey hairs in youth)
குறைந்த வயதில்தலை நரை

46. Rheumatic Heart Diseases
ரூமாட்டிக் இருதய நோய்

47. Sexual Impotence, Premature ejaculation and spermatorrhoea (Male impotency fast semen discharge)
ஆண்மைக்குறைவு, விரைவில் ஸ்கலிதம்

48. Spondylitis (Cervical and pains of lumbar spondylosis)
கழுத்து வலி மற்றும் முதுகுத் தண்டில் ஏற்படும் அனைத்து வலிகளும்

49. Stammering
திக்குவாய்

50. Stones in gall-bladder, kidney, bladder (Kidneys, Gall bladder and Urinary bladder stones)
சிறுநீரகக்கற்கள், பித்தப்பை கற்கள், சிறுநீர்ப்பை கற்கள்

51. Varicose Veins
காலில் இரத்த நாளங்கள் வீக்கம் அடைந்து புடைத்துக் காணப்படுதல்.

இந்தப் பட்டியலில் உள்ள நோய்களுக்கு ஸ்பெஷலிஸ்டுகள் என்று கூற கூடாது. காரணம் சிறப்பு மருத்துவர்கள் என்ற அடைமொழி மறைமுகமாக பாமர மக்களைபெரிய அளவில் ஏமாற்றக் கூடிய தாக உள்ளது.
மருத்துவமனைகளில் போர்டுகளில் காணப்படும் இந்த அடைமொழிகளை நீக்க சொல்வதில் சமுதாயமே கண்காணிப்புடன் இருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியமாகிறது.
